Crawling!!!

Yesterday, July 13, Audrina crawled for the first time!!! She has been getting around by rolling or doing a mini-tummy-bear-crawl..haha a little funny looking.. but the other day while we were at a party she crawled three little crawls! and today again she has a toy ball that she goes after. The only thing is that she will only crawl when she starts in the sitting position! oh this is so exciting, shes getting so big!!

7 months old already!

Audrina is 7 months old. She is growing like crazy! she is now 16.8 lbs and is 25 inches long! wow is she getting big. She is trying to crawl, but really cant do it, she usually just rolls to get where she needs to go. 

Thank goodness we have finally gotten over our sickness, we are not sure what she had but she had a very high fever for three days.  but everything is great now, she is back to her self!

We are now expecting baby number to. a little close i know.... at least they will be great friends. we are due on Dec. 21st. hopefully a little earlier than that! haha 

well everything is going great! having a great summer so far! ill try to keep up on the blog a little better this summer! sorry!!!

Our First Sickness :(

Yesterday when I woke Audrina up to feed her i noticed that her eye was stuck shut. The first thing I thought was pink eye. And sure enough, i took her to the doctor later in the day and she in fact had pink eye and an ear infection! I had no idea about the ear, she didn't even fuss or even act very different. But we are taking the medication and everything seems to be going great!

Finally able to walk!

No not Audrina. haha. Today I noticed that we have moved to a new stage with Audrina. Before, when we would go for walks with Audrina she would fall asleep in the stroller. When we went walking today there was no sleeping in sight. She would rather be looking around. But we had so much fun in this beautiful weather. 

As usual I cant wait to see what she does next!

You Little Brat!

Well day by day Audrina continues to show us her stubborn little attitude. Not only in the way that she refused to take the bottle for cody, which she is now doing ok with, but also in all the cute little things that she does. For example, over a month ago Audrina started to roll over, then suddenly she STOP completely, so i thought that maybe i had mistaken and she didnt really roll over. Then the other day she rolls over again, not once but twice. Being so excited i tell everyone then she refuses to roll over again for anyone. A few weeks later we are taking her 3 month pictures and we try to get her to lay on her tummy and what does she do, roll over again! My goodness she will only do it on her terms. I have figured out that if she is fussy at all she will not roll over but shove her face into the blankets. 

Now, she is the same way with going to bed. She will sit there and talk her little head of to me and refuse to sleep. Finally i get sick of it and make her just lay in her bed. After letting her scream for about five minutes, i go and get her and she will fall asleep. Its like she needs to realize we dont plan on sitting there all night before she will fall asleep.

Humm... i wonder who she got that personality from :P

Loving Laughs

Everyday we notice more and more new things about Audrina. She has really picked up on our voices and the differences between Cody and I. She has been smiling the cutest and funniest smiles ever and just today she started to have a little giggle! It is so much fun to see how she can change in just one day.

Another change we have had has been a bad one, Audrina has always taken a bottle just fine for us, then the day I have to go back to work she decides to not take on at all. Cody has been a real trooper trying to make it through the days that I am working. We have tried SO many different bottles, my next attempt is going to be going straight to the sippy cup, which im told for some kids works. We are crossing our fingers.

Well I really do get some very good pictures but I have a very crappy camera! So I did my best with what i had. There are not very many here because I cant figure out how to get the pictures on here easily! It takes me forever, but here are some cute one.

Shopping!

I have found my NEW FAVORITE store for Audrina! I dont know if any of you have ever heard of this store but I am in love with everything in it! It is kind of a new store down town Holland called Tip Toes. Everything in the store is very unique and extra cute, not only does this store have clothes and shoes it also has toys and the cutest sayings for your walls! Well, I dont have much to say about Audrina, she is getting very big! Just the other day I finally put away all of the newborn sizes and got out the 0-3 month size, some of them are pretty big yet but she will grow into them soon. She has an Appt. on the 15th so we will see how big she has gotten. I am also working on taking pictures of all of her favorite things right now! Look for pictures soon!

Bed time!!!

Just the other day Cody and I decided that it would be best that we change Audrina's bedtime and have her sleep in her own room. I figured it would be easier for me when I go back to work. So the first night was great! Everything went smoothly. She was sleeping by 9:30 and didn't wake up until 3:00 she ate a little and went back to sleep until 7:00. The next night was not so good, I admit it was all my fault, we were away from home at 8:00 and tried to lay her down at someone else's house, she didn't really fall for that one. When we got home she went to bed at the time she previously did, 11:00 she then slept until 6:30, not so bad i guess. Tonight, the third night, I laid her down at 9:00 and she cried her self to sleep by 9:15, getting a little better. I hope things continue to go good. She has a doctors appointment on the 15th of this month, I'm sure she is way bigger! She is starting to lift her self up when she has her "Tummy Time" she is laughing, smiling, and always looking around.
